1. Scope of Services

AssignMate.in operates strictly as an intermediary peer-to-peer (P2P) student marketplace. The platform connects students seeking document formatting, peer tutoring, reference material drafting, and technical code review with independent student freelancers (referred to as "Mates").

AssignMate.in does not direct, oversee, or control the work performed by Mates, nor is it responsible for the quality, accuracy, or delivery of assignments.

2. Academic Integrity Disclaimer

The services provided by Mates are strictly intended as academic formatting assistance, peer tutoring, and reference material draft preparation.

• Users are strictly prohibited from submitting Mate-generated outputs as their own work for academic grading or evaluation.
• AssignMate.in does not support, encourage, or facilitate plagiarism or any form of academic dishonesty.
• The student assumes full liability for compliance with their respective college or university's academic honor codes.

3. Escrow and Payment Terms

All transaction fees must be paid in advance via our integrated payment pathways. The budget amount is held securely in the platform's escrow wallet. Escrow funds will only be released to the Mate upon verification using the client's unique 4-digit Delivery OTP.

4. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and other applicable laws of India.

Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms, our platform, or transaction matching will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
